The older we get, the more quickly time seems to go: one day, you're fresh out of school. The next, you're on to your third job, or having your first child, or suddenly attending your 30th high school reunion. If we don't intentionally set aside time to think about our lifelong goals, it's easy for them to get left behind.

Are you living the life you intended, or are you watching life pass you by? Are you getting done what you want while you are here on Earth? This course will get you in gear, helping you identify the work and general life goals that matter most to you along with the path you need to meet them. We'll move from getting a good idea of how much time we have left, to envisioning what we want to do with that time, to developing an action plan for actually achieving those goals, to learning best practices for meeting our goals.

This course was originally designed for pairs, all the better for greater accountability in pursuing your life plan. You are welcome to take it as an individual, but if you can recruit someone to take the course with you, you'll both get 20% off with our discount code YOUVEGOTAFRIEND.

Week 1: Uncover Your Life’s Wishes. In our first class, you’ll receive Write, Open, Act: An Intentional Life Planning Workbook and begin exploring your life’s dreams and wishes. We'll go over the intentional life planning process and calculate our life expectancies so you can start thinking about how much time you have left to meet your goals. We'll then write about how we want our obituaries to read to help us pinpoint what we really want.

Week 2: Build Your Intentional Life Plan Timeline. In our second class, we'll create our Intentional Life Plans, and we'll find a clear view of the road ahead filled with the goals we want to accomplish. We’ll provide butcher paper, multi-colored sticky notes, and pens to create these timelines.

Week 3: Turn Your Timeline Into an Actionable Plan. In our third gathering, we’ll find clarity on how we can work on our goals in the coming year, a precise understanding of the steps needed to convert those life goals into actions, and an easy-to-use action plan to turn our plans into reality. We'll take our most important life goal for the coming year and break it down by action steps.

Week 4: Keep to the Plan. Now that we have Intentional Life Plans and have identified the action steps we need to realize our life’s wishes, how do we stay on our plans and make sure these goals materialize? In our final class, we’ll receive the tools we need to keep to our plans, guidance for updating these plan, and help for when we fall off track or don’t accomplish our goals.
